Firstly, get in touch to visit one of our recommended mortgage brokers face to face. The mortgage broker will carry out a full fact find including understanding budgets. It is then up to you to find the property of your choice. Once your property offer has been accepted, please notify the mortgage broker and they shall submit a mortgage application to the recommended lender. Remain vigilant as you may need to fulfil lender requirements and provide any additional information required. The lender will carry out a survey and valuation on your chosen property. Once the lender is satisfied with the application, you'll be notified by your mortgage broker; mortgage offer comes through (lender agrees to lend) and then the solicitors are instructed to carry out searches on the property highlighting any caveats (also known as Conveyancing). Finally, when both solicitors have completed their tasks and checks; exchange and completion dates are set.
